Lorraine Cryan Photographer
Ever since I can remember I have loved taking photographs… I studied Communications at UCG where I worked as pictures editor for the college newspaper. After college I worked for and managed various photography studios which eventually led to me discovering my love for wedding photography which I now specialise in.
My background in photojournalism and portraiture have influenced the way I approach wedding photography and means that I shoot in a relaxed, informal style capturing your wedding day as it unfolds and creating some beautiful, natural portraits along the way. I also have a background in art which I think gives a creative edge to my photography and keeps it fresh. I feel very lucky to do a job I truly love. It’s a real privilege to work so closely with couples on the biggest day of their lives. I put a lot of planning into each wedding I photograph – meeting each couple before their day to listen to their thoughts and ideas . It’s always my aim to keep the day flowing and keep things moving along so you get the most out of your day and end up with beautiful wedding photos while spending as much time as possible with your family and friends!
When I’m not shooting weddings I love getting creative with family and kids photography. I have my own private studio and I’d be happy to arrange a booking for you either for the studio or at your own location through our Contact us page.
